Unlock Investment Opportunities in Vietnam with an Investor Visa
Vietnam welcomes foreign investors, and the Investor Visa (DT Visa) is your key to establishing or expanding your business in this dynamic country. This special visa is granted to foreign investors or representatives of foreign organizations contributing capital to Vietnamese enterprises.
The DT Visa comes in four types (DT1, DT2, DT3, DT4), each tailored to different investment levels. Beyond its initial validity of 1 to 5 years, it can even open doors to a Vietnam Resident Card, allowing stays of up to 10 years for certain categories (DT1, DT2, DT3).
A significant benefit for DT1, DT2, and DT3 visa holders is the ability to sponsor family members, such as spouses and children, to join them in Vietnam on a visiting-relative visa.
Understanding the Different Investor Visa Types (DT Visa)
Vietnam's Investor Visa system is categorized based on your investment capital, ensuring a suitable option for various scales of commitment:
- DT1 Visa: For foreign investors and representatives contributing over 100 billion VND, or investing in prioritized industries/geographical areas. Valid for up to 5 years.
- DT2 Visa: For foreign investors and representatives contributing 50 to under 100 billion VND, or investing in encouraged industries. Valid for up to 5 years.
- DT3 Visa: For foreign investors and representatives contributing 3 to under 50 billion VND. Valid for up to 3 years.
- DT4 Visa: For foreign investors and representatives contributing under 3 billion VND. Valid for up to 1 year (12 months). This is often the most popular choice for new foreign investors.
