The Vietnam e-visa application is completed online. Prepare a stable internet connection, your passport information, a digital portrait photo and a clear image of the passport data page before starting.
Step 1: Complete the online application
Choose your visa type and processing speed, enter the requested travel and personal information, then upload the required passport and portrait images. Review every detail carefully because the approved visa must match your passport.
Step 2: Review and pay securely
Check the application summary, applicant names, passport numbers, intended dates and entry port. Submit payment online after confirming that the information is correct. A confirmation is sent after payment is completed.
Step 3: Receive and check your e-visa
The approved e-visa is delivered by email according to the selected processing option. Check all details immediately, print a copy and keep an electronic copy available during your journey.
Documents to prepare
- A passport valid for at least six months from the intended arrival date.
- At least two blank passport pages.
- A clear digital image of the passport information page.
- A recent portrait photograph that meets e-visa photo requirements.
- An active email address and a valid payment method.
At the Vietnamese entry point
Present your original passport and approved e-visa to the immigration officer. Enter through the port stated on the approved e-visa and make sure the passport used for travel is the same passport used in the application.
